Fantasy Faire is the largest gathering of fantasy designers, roleplayers, performers and enthusiasts in Second Life. 2017 marks its ninth year on the grid during which it has continuously grown: this year the Fairelands cover 15 whole sims.

Fantasy Faire is a Relay For Life event, benefiting American Cancer Society, and each merchant has minimum two items with all the proceeds going to Relay For Life of Second Life.

In addition to the ten shopping sims there are five others: Fairelands Junction that hosts portals to all the other sims as well as the Memorial area. Kakushi Pasu hosts the Silent Auction, the dragon-ship for the DJ parties and Literary Festival that has events going on through the Faire. Opal Flight has a fantasy art gallery and a performance stage for an amazing amount of dance and particle shows and theater. Morbus is the environment for our Fairelands Quest: The Bard Queen's Song. Anansi is the sim hosting worldling cradle, an exhibition of sim concepts that could one day turn to be Fairelands.

Six of the shopping sims also hold roleplay-events during the Faire: The Lilypods at Mudrana, Ynys Seamaide at The Spirit Pool, the NeoVictoria Project at Anansi, Outbreak at San Mora, Steelwood at The Hill and the Sanctuary RP Community at Raven's Perch.

This year Fantasy Faire also holds Tolkien Day on April 26th, has Seanan McGuire visit the Literary Festival and features a special Shakespeare performance by the Faireland Players.
